By placing and order with us you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Milestone Designs will endeavour to ensure that you receive a high quality product and customer service. Should your experience of our site or our products not be to your satisfaction we urge you to make contact with us. We aim to answer questions or resolve issues that you wish to bring to our attention.
Images and materials portrayed on this site and promotional material are the intellectual property of Milestone Designs. By purchasing a Milestone Designs Celebration Frame you provide permission for its possible reproduction in or on promotional literature or electronic media. All ceative designs used are protected by copyright law.
Coloured images are intended best representations of actual articles but, as with all digital images and individual PC diplay settings, the colours will vary depending on your monitor and computer. We aim to show as true a representation of the object as can be expected in these circumstances.
Due to the nature of the natural paper media used there is a likelihood of blemishes and imperfections in the papers used in the Keepsake Boxes created, this is part of their charm and is not a reason for return of an item.
Milestone Designs cannot be held responsible for the fragility of items you send or inadequate packaging. Ensure that the completed Celebration Frame is hung away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Articles and items that are used to create the Celebration Frame are attached as securely as can be reasonably expected given the weight and size of the item. The frames and contents are unable to withstand excessive or vigorous movement that might damage, release or affect the overall appearance of the finished Celebration Frame.
Preserved flowers are subject to discolouration, shrinkage and are fragile once prepared.
Payment is required prior to product delivery. Payment can be made via Pay Pal, credit card, debit card or by cheque. Where cheques are used goods will be dispatched only once funds have cleared. Cheques should be made payable to Milestone Designs Giftware Ltd.
Shipping, Handling & Delivery
All our products are hand prepared to order, not off the shelf, therefore we aim to process and despatch orders within 4 to 5 working days (delivery is not included in this timescale). For urgent orders we recommend direct contact with us to discuss your requirements. Some products such as celebrations frames will take longer to prepare, please contact us for more detailed timescales and delivery. Any shipment of items to Milestone Designs is the responsibility of the customer until its arrival with us. All goods sent by Milestone Designs are sent by Royal Mail first class delivery unless specified, arranged and paid for by the customer.
It is the responsibility of the customer to physically check the contents of their order before signing for goods on delivery. Once goods are signed for, or marked "unchecked" by our courier, we are unable claim for damage during transit. As a result we cannot replace or credit customers in these circumstances. Back Orders
If the items you have ordered are unavailable orders will usually be despatched within a maximum of 4 working days of goods being available. If the delay is likely to be more than a few days we will contact you to let you know. Should you then inform us that you do not wish to proceed with the order, we will issue a full refund. Refunds & Pricing
All prices are correct at time of publishing but are subject to change and availability. We reserve the right to amend prices without prior notification. Title of goods supplied does not pass until the goods have been paid for in full.
Personalised items are excluded from the Distance Regulations therefore statuatory refund rights for our personalised goods are not obligatory, and we are not obliged to give a refund if you wish to return your item without any fault. If a refund is given a maximum of 75% of sale value will be refunded or 100% as credit facility against other Milestone Designs goods and services.
Advanced payments and cancellations: Please note that for advance orders of Celebration Frames, in the event of purchasers cancellation over 28 days a maximum of 75% of sale value will be refunded or 100% as credit facility against other Milestone Designs goods and services. Statuatory refund rights for personalised goods are not obligatory, they are to our discression due to the nature of the goods being unreturnable.
We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties, or pass any of your personal data to outside organisations or individuals. Milestone Designs do not capture and store any personal information about individuals who access this website, other than where you voluntarily choose to give us your personal details via e-mail or by enquiring about or ordering any of our products.
Please note that where our website contains links to other websites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other web sites and this statement applies solely to any personal information collected by our website. Governing Law & Statutory Rights
These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English Law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute between us. These terms and conditions are in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer which remain unaffected.
To keep costs down for our customers we use either Royal Mail 1st Class post for inkless kits and cards and a 2-3 day courier service for larger items. Please take into account that most items take 4-5 days to prepare and 2-3 days to deliver, though this can take longer especially to remote areas or if no-one is in to receive the items. An email will be sent to you to say your item has been dispatched. Please note: if no-one is to receive your delivery it may be returned to the Royal Mail sorting office or retained by the courier, in either case a card should be left to say that a delivery has been attempted. If you have asked that a parcel be left in a safe place by the courier this is done at your own risk and refunds cannot be issued if packages were not deilvered to the occupants.
